Adding an extra PGC to store your Video to be played prior to DVD selection menu. There are currently 43 PGC’s and the one we create with be the 44th PGC.

 

 

 

Step 1.   Highlight “Menus en” under the “Domain” pane on the left and then right click

On it and select “Add PGC” to create a blank cell for our video.

 

 

 

Step 2.  Highlight the newly created PGC 44 and in the “Programs” pane right click and select “Add Program” so a new blank cell is created.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2a. Blank Cell is created.

 

 

 

Step 3. Right click on the new blank cell and select “Replace Block” from the menu. Then scroll down to your video and select “OK”.

 

 

 

 

Step 4.  Acknowledge error if in your case you get one.

 

Note: The error is this case it due to the audio streams which

We will correct in the next step.

 

 

 

 

Step 4a. Notice PGC 44 is now 9.07 MB as the video has been added.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5. Switch to Project9 ( Your Dummy DVD project ) and note the attributes of our audio. As you can see in the “Audio Tracks” pane in the upper right hand corner we have AC3 5 Channel Audio.

 

 

 

Step 6.  Scroll back up the PGC chain and highlight “Menus en” again and in the “Audio Tracks” pane, right click in the window and select “Add Track”.

 

 

 

 

Step 6a.  Set “Audio Track Attributes” accordingly and then select “OK”.

 

 

 

Step 7.  Scroll back down to your PGC 44 and highlight it and in the “Audio Tracks” pane in the upper right hand corner highlight your audio track . Right click on it and

Select “Edit Track”.

Step 8. Check mark the CheckBox to enable audio and select you audio from the drop down list.

 

 

Step 9. Scroll up to “First Play” highlight it and in the “Pre Commands” pane right click on the command and select “Edit Command”

 

 

 

 

Step 10. Change command to point to the PGC we created earlier ( PGC 44 ) where are

Video is now stored.

 

 

 

 

Step 11. Select PGC 44 and right click in the “Post Commands” pane and select “Add Command”

 

 

 

 

Step 12. Select these settings so after video is played, Player will revert back to “PGC Title Menu” ( PGC 43 ). You may also select “Jump VMG Title Menu” or “Link PGC 43” and it will produce the same results.

 

 

 

 

Note: Order of play is: First Play > Video > Selection Menu.
